Ideal for Bluetooth enabling 'dumb' RS232 devices such as dataloggers etc. The BL-819 requires no software when in use and can be up and running within minutes. Simple configuration utilities for Windows or Linux can be used to change factory set options. With 3-wire operation, integral antenna, and the option to configure as a pair for true cable replacement, these devices are an engineer's dream.

The BL-819 uses true 1Mbit line drivers allowing communication at full Bluetooth data rates (requires fast serial port).
