Based on Brainboxes high performance LYNX chip, the UP-880 provides two RS232 ports operating at 115.2Kbaud data rates, with huge 128byte FIFO buffers to ensure smooth and reliable data transfer.

The card can provide 1.3Amp power to peripherals, making it ideal for retail point of sale systems. Ground or 12V can be selected on pin 1 of each port and 12V or 5V can be selected on pin 9 of each port.
